about doffie

Starting from humble beginnings my first career was as a secretary and then in nursing, before starting my own business and my brand doffie. From the start I wanted to do something I decided unique. My first influences in design began with my mother who was a seamstress and my carpenter father. I had big dreams and initially it was to make my mark on the retail platform which in many ways I did treat as my theatre stage. I set out to create a totally different way of retailing and it's rewarding over the years to hear how clients recall the ambience and excitement they felt when shopping at a doffie store. From there I developed an interior decorating service specialising initially in the décor of children’s rooms and then following on from there this led into my ultimate dream which was to create beautiful spaces in people’s homes with a whole home interior design service. It is my true passion and I feel grateful to be using my skills and talents for the purpose of enhancing people’s sense of wellbeing and happiness with unique, personalised interiors.
