“Mummy please…”
2002 & 2003: Beaconsfield & Stirling Hwy.
Then the owner of three outlets in both Nedlands and Beaconsfield as well still having the location in Waratah Avenue, Dalkeith. This had a big impact on both myself and my business as a result of the accident that happened as I crossed Stirling H’Way, Cottesloe with my young son Zack. Again, the Post Newspaper assisted in letting my clients know and fortunately my staff were excellent at keeping things on the go over that Christmas period. I was in a wheelchair for quite some time and it was certainly a testing time as small business can be. A short time later the lease was completed in Dalkeith which assisted me to focus on just two outlets and my interior design consultancy.

Doffie again puts her stamp in a different way! This time combining her retail store of gifts, homewares and interior design she has married it with a coffee shop. All creations by doffie. Having rented the properties during the history of my business this is the first time I had bought a commercial outlet and we renovated what was once an original green grocer’s, then deli which had been historically listed. With great care and an eye for detail the renovation was project managed by me and we created a wonderful community feel to the premises. It was an original house with the store attached and a garden that we enhanced to be able to include events on occasions like mothers and fathers day that included all ages. Again, the Post Newspapers gave their full support in spreading the word around the local areas of the Western Suburbs.
Then in 2015 my health was a challenge and I needed to take the business home to Mosman Park and focus mostly on my interior design consultancy work.

The Scoop Article
I opened a store in Napoleon Street, Cottesloe and it was a thrill to be back on my favoured stage of retail. In this store the interior design was strongly represented and it stood out on the landscape as it was surrounded by so many fashion shops and café’s!!
